Is a wrist monitor as accurate as an upper-arm one?

Both measure the same way. A wrist reading is more sensitive to position, so keep your wrist at heart level and stay still. If your doctor has asked you to use an upper-arm monitor, follow that advice.

What does the irregular heartbeat symbol mean?

It means an uneven rhythm was picked up during that reading. Rest for a few minutes and measure again. If the symbol keeps appearing, mention it to your doctor.

Can two people use it?

Yes. Choose user 1 or user 2 before you start, and each person’s last 90 readings are saved separately.

Should I take one reading or two?

Many doctors suggest two readings a minute apart, then noting both. Ask your doctor what they prefer. Beatly saves each reading, so you can look back at them.

Does it need a phone, app or Bluetooth?

No. Beatly works on its own, and your readings are stored on the device.

How do I clean and store it?

Wipe it with a soft, dry cloth. Don’t use alcohol or soak it in water. Keep it in the storage case away from moisture and heat, and remove the batteries if you won’t use it for a long time.
