How does the color-changing feature actually work?

Ivory uses a color-adapting formula that reacts to your skin's natural pH and undertone. When you apply it, the white base shifts to match your unique skin tone within seconds-no mixing or blending required to "activate" it.

Will it match my exact skin tone, even if I'm very fair or deep?
